The Queen of Prince Rupert (smallest one) did its last sailing yesterday. It has been officially retired from service. Northern Adventure (middle) has now taken over for all north routes but will do only the Queen Charlotte run June-Sept. Northern Expedition (largest and farthest away) starts in May on the direct Port Hardy – Prince Rupert run. It dwarfs the two other boats!

very cool comparison. I didn't realize there were 2 new boats. One to replace both the Queen of PR and Queen of the North?
The little boat was the PR to SKD one, but no more. The middle size one will do the PR-SKD run for the summer and then the big boat does the PR to PH and PR to SKD over winter. I just hope the bigger boat means smoother sailings...?
